NO CD player

Ok I will I admit I was too excited about my new Civic's looks to try every option at delivery. I was floored to find that a old guy like me can't play a CD in my new EX. How am I supped to access all my CD collections?? Please don't tell me that I have to put everything on my phone(it's already smarter than me.

Rip 'em all and get yourself an ipod touch. Dump all the music there, and you'll have your whole collection at the touch of your thumb. Why go through all the CDs? That's old school.

I rip CDs to Flash Drives, one drive for music and one for audio books. Flash drives are cheap, hold tons of data and works great with the Civic system.

You should really try to put all your music onto your phone, that's if your phone has the space to handle what ever amount you're looking to add. It's what a lot of people do, makes life easier. What phone do you have?

or you could get a cd player and connect it to the aux jack port

Now that, would be some cool old school.

is there no aux jack in that version? Seems like every car these days would have a aux port. There still is likely a way to do it using an adapter and the USB port.

I checked out a dealer's 2016 Civic EX-T and my Moto e phone wouldn't pair with the car and the car couldn't find the phone. The owner's manual lists this website for compatible phones: https://www.handsfreelink.com/Honda/
My phone isn't listed and only a very limited number of phones are.
Does anyone have experience connecting to the new Civic? What phone did you use?
I currently listen to music from my phone in my 2012 Civic LX using a 3.5 mm cable, but this option is no longer available. Any ideas?
