It's not the best picture so the lighting is off or yellow-ish. Overall, i like them much better than stock bulbs. One con i could say is i dislike trying to find a place for the wires to hide and mount the ballast.

I think the 4500K's are truly white/yellow in color...thats why I went with 6000K , which are abit too blue...I think 5000-5500K is the best of both worlds...but even the 6000K's light up up the road way brighter than stock halogens.

I ordered a cheaper 5000K kit and will just swap out the bulbs and leave my current ballast and igniter in the car.

I will post pics later of my set up.

ok, I tried the 5000K bulbs and to me, its too yellow...thinking 5500K would be the perfect color...think I am going back to my 6000K bulbs and accept the white/blue look.

I actually work for a company that makes HID lighting for aircraft. LED is great for recognition lighting (to be seen), but HID offers a tremendous advantage when it comes to range. LEDs are bright when you look at them but when you are behind them they are not much brighter than halogen bulbs. HID is better than LED when it comes to headlights.

For that reason I always liked the idea of going with HID bulbs in projectors with the rest of my exterior lighting as LED bulbs, even something like LED indicators and LED marker lights can be seen far better than halogen. Best thing to do in an area we have no other better option for improvements... surely they don't make mini-HID's

I'm thinking about buying the same kit tonight. Any chance you can post some pictures so I can see what they look like? It would be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated!
