Instead of going the "kit" route, I selected my interior LED bulbs individually.
For the trunk and dome light, I purchased warm 12-SMD 5050 T10 arrays which are shaped like a pong pong paddle. They *just* fit the space in the fixture, and direct light exactly as needed from one side of the paddle only. The 12V lead polarity &illumination direction combination worked out correctly in both places.
Putting radially emitting bulbs in these spots does not make sense to me, because a significant amount of light would be directed toward the dark side of the opening where there is no reflector.
For the map/spot lights, I purchased warm 6-SMD Samsung 5630, where 2 emitters on the end and 4 are around the side. These are more powerful LED's than those in the the 5-SMD versions which have been around for a while and were used by the original poster in this thread. I have both types, and compared them side-by-side. These Samsung emitters are magnitudes brighter.
I really do enjoy the warm color from the LED's, which emulate incandescent bulbs, instead of the "harsh" cool white.
These items were found on Ebay, and spent only a few dollars total.
