Great thread to start. As I mentioned in a thread a week or two ago, I had an awful car wash experience where it came out of the tunnel no cleaner then when it went in. I am just waiting for the weather to break here in New England so I can turn back on the outdoor water spigot so I can do my own two bucket wash and detail. Anyone have success with an electric power washer? I've seen once you get above 1800psi, you do get some good foam out of a gun but that's on youtube. What solutions do you folks use? Chemical Guys is just so expensive but is it really worth the initial investment?
Just to get some of the fundamentals out of the way, when first looking into detailing I found the following video by Larry at Ammo NYC to be useful, covers a lot of basics and builds some good knowledge to better contribute here:
So what are the reviews on Meguiar’s NXT or F11 topcoat. Has anyone used either and what are the results? I know it’s not trendy but I like Nu-finish. It is pretty cheap - doesn’t make a deep wet look but beads the water like crazy.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
