Good Headlights

Edmunds.com posted a review on the 2016 Honda Civic LED headlights and said they were "excellent"

Not only do they look good, but they perform well and have a reasonable height with a solid cutoff line. (Personally the cutoff line is a huge thing for me)

Good distance of lighting on the road and a wide enough beam to shed some light on a "broad swath of road on a dark mountain pass or empty freeway"

I definitely feel coming from a 2014 to my new (just got it tuesday!) EXT that the projectors are alot better than the old reflectors on my last car, but still room for improvement for sure, mostly related to the bulbs honda uses stock... i plan on replacing sometime, either going cheap and getting white light halogens or possibly going for some HIDs

No doubt the LED setup is awesome. Was driving behind an accord that had the LED lights and it was interesting to see them change/adjust to oncoming traffic, you could clearly see the light trail changing.

5 Civics in 10 years. I might be an addict.

fwiw, i recently upgraded to phillips crystalvision ultra....and it was a significant difference than stock halogens. longevity....who knows...but, i got them way cheaper than any brick and mortar store sold them for. i tried to price match at 2 stores...and they wouldnt' do it. so, i had to wait a few extra days for the usps to deliver.

curious if those would even be better with projectors. (btw, i did both the low and high beams at the same time)

Projectors are almost always the answer as long as your willing to pay or put in the effort to make it happen.
I think Retrofit Source has a forum that covers a lot of things you need to know about projectors, read into that, you might even find some 10th Civic owners that have done it already.

Retrofit source is the place to learn about projectors and the like. Showing multiple comparisons, to who has the better projectors. How to go about retrofitting and even selling kits for them. Worth the time spent on there.

The all LED setup is my biggest love of the new Civic though. I adored it on the Accord before initially.

By far the best headlight of any car I've driven. It was a significant factor in the Touring since I leave for work between 4:30 and 6am and drive home around 5pm so I drive in the dark probably about 50% of the year. They are so good that I don't need the brights as much and fog light are useless unles it's foggy. They make little impact.

While showing my LEDs to a friend he said, "And yet the fog lights are still halogen instead of LED." I wonder why they didn't just go all the way and make the fog lights LED as well?

The high beams on most of the cars I've owned aren't as good the LED low beams. Rod markings and signs are crisp and clear. Cut off is definitely much much farther than why I'm used to.

Nobody has flashed me either so the glare and overll effect ones must be high. I know HIDs had.m big problems when the lense got dirty at all.
