You also have to take into consideration that it's a small engine and small turbo, so it's going to have higher psi in order to make power. The Si is pushing around 20psi.

That's also true.. then you look at bigger engines with superchargers where they only come with like 7psi of boost or something. Drastic difference

But I was looking over at the BRZ guys that install a small turbo and can push quite the amount of power on only 9psi of boost too

Post for reference: my old 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T from the factory spiked 14psi if all the stars aligned in the universe and held around 8-10psi to redline, and with some adjustment of the wastegate arm 17psi before the ECU cut throttle and fuel and would hold 12psi to redline.

Looking forward to digging into my new 2017 si coupe to see what it does and can do, i'll post results as time goes by, i'm sure much has been discovered but doesn't seem many are eager beaver to poke and prod at a new car, so hopefully i can provide some insight as i just picked up the car yesterday.
