my Aegean Blue EX-T will be built next week and i should be driving it by mid-July. I am paying Invoice for it the gas mileage and looks is what got me. I thought about the Accord but its too expensive and not as good gas mileage for my liking. plus that turbo can really move!

Speaking of old men, I'm a really really old man (75) and just bought a 2016 Civic Touring Coupe. My wife and I have owned a whole string of Hondas and Acuras, every accord I owned was a coupe, my wife even had a first year civic. I had a 2014 EX-L Accord Coupe which was wonderful (and fast) but we downsized to a smaller house and unfortunately garage and I had to get a smaller car. I picked up a 2015 Fit then did some work in my garage and now a civic will fit. I'm giving the fit to my son when my Civic arrives (factory order) and can't wait. IMO the new Civic is a better car than any Accord I've owned but then it should be with all the advances being made in automobile engineering.

Coming back to report ---- I went with the Civic.

I got an EX-L with Sensing in Burgundy Night Pearl.

I realized I could save 3K, and only lose led headlights, rain sensors, and heated rear seats. None of those were important to me.

Seats are still driving me crazy... some days I love my car, other days I'm like I can't take these seats and am ready return it.

Getting lots of compliments :-)

What's wrong with the seats, I bought the Civic EXT coupe, I didn't want leather seats, so I have Cloth manual seats . Which I find to be ok . I have the Modern Metal Grey wit the black and gray interior.

I own a 2016 Accord Sport and 2016 Civic EX-T.The Accord is a more refined car quieter and smoother than my Civic.Ive gotten up to 39 MPG in the Accord also. But really can't go wrong with either car.

Always said that sometimes its better buying something slightly used (CPO) with more going on like that Accord, great for short-term ownership since you won't have to worry about all the problems that come up once you get closer to high mileage maintenance

After plenty of test drives between a Hyundai Elantra, Honda Fit, Honda Accord, and a Honda Civic....(Drum Roll Please)
I went with a all black Honda Civic EX. I wasn't quite sure about the turbo so didn't even consider it. I quite like the Civic. Yes its totally redesigned but for what I need it for it works. I still wish the wind wouldn't hit the windows so loudly when driving on high speeds on the freeway but I can handle that. I got the vehicle in all Black as none of the dealerships has any other colors except Black or Blue.

By all means its not a super fancy car even though it feels like it. It has what I need. I just wish the driver side had seat adjusters/heated seats it does not on the EX models. So take your pick on what is important for you.

It's a tough call I own a 16 Accord Sport and a 16 Civic EXT.IMO the Accord is more refined but the Civic is so much more fun to drive.I can get 40 MPG and so can my Civic.
