On this car mods like intakes and exhaust make power by leaning out the air-fuel mixture, since the car runs pretty rich in oem form. You won't need a tune for either of those simple mods as they are working as intended.


If you want to alter the boost and ignition timing then a tune will open up more power potential for you.

For the people looking for power going up to 50hp+ I think a tune will be necessary since that is the sort of power increase you can actually feel throughout the power band, at that point it starts to get rewarding.
