hi guys ,

its great to finally be a proud owner of a 10th gen Honda civic! the 1.0 vtec engine was not my 1st choice I just needed that little bit more on mpg for work commute!

is there anyone out there with this engine yet on the forum? I have searched high and low for threads on mods or upgrades but no joy yet :(

i originally wanted the 1.5vtec turbo engine but due to mpg and insurance circumstances I settled for the 1.0Vtec turbo which is fun to drive still! ha ha these tyres have only covered 360 miles so they will be fine for another year or so, which model and engine size do you have? I do however look for a k&n panel filter for my civic which would of helped the engine breathe a little better but no one supplies for this engine size at the moment.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Civic! I cant imagine fitment for aftermarket mods being that different for the 1.0l over the 1.5. Have you confirmed that none of those options will fit on your model?

thank you! this is my first ever forum so I am still getting use to navigating my way round LOL well you would think that with the engine being turbo like the 1.5 but from what I can gather, no company has taken on the project to tweak this little engine apart from a UK company called ' TDI TUNING' who have developed a tuning chip (multi channel) that is believed to achieve 160hp and 250nm! which in my eyes is pretty impressive :D, if a k&n panel was also added to this upgrade it could be more gained!
