Great improvement.
The improved hybrid system should help position them better among the competition and quite possibly end up being one of the better hybrids on the market.

Now I just wonder what this may do to cost on our end.

It's a great opportunity to increase price, but in order to better justify that, the entire segment would have to be factored in, how much sense it makes and what a higher price or lower price will and won't do for them.

No need to reverse engineer it when they already have market defined price ranges to stick within to stay relevant. Why go back to the drawing board when it's right in front of your face. Horrible strategy.
