Looking forward to the end of the new Civic's life cycle, we will eventually be getting a 10th generation Civic Type R. With the Civic hatchback having debuted in Geneva this past week, and spy shots of the Civic Type R undergoing testing in places like the Nurburgring and the North Pole, X-Tomi has created a rendering of what we can expect the 10th generation Civic Type R to look like. Unfortunately, we don't have a look at the back, and the big question there is what the exhaust set-up will be like.

That is a very realistic representation of what it will look like. At this point its more a matter of what colors and what the color scheme will be like since how the body is shaped and how its different from other 10th Civic trims is already obvious.

I'm not sure about the proportions. It almost seems too long for a hatchback. It's probably the render and camo and such. In person hopefully it will look better.

That rear end looks very sloped and the wing is blocking part fo the rear window for even less visibility. Maybe this is still a test mule?

Well if that's the case with the rear end in actuality then chances are they'll have cameras and sensors around to compensate for the flaw in design. Only way to do it and it's something a lot of car makers have adjusted to, works well.

The spoiler on the current generation Type R also gets in the way of the rear window, so it isn't like that is something new.
