I am looking to get an intake on my brand new 2017 Civic Si.
I also want to cut the mufflers out just for now.

I was wondering, if anyone had any experience with this and if so, did it give anyone any trouble?

I have the INJEN short ram intake on my 17 Si and I love it, its comes as a cold air intake but can turn into a short ram if you like. Easy install and sounds a **** of a lot nicer

I'm only worried because i am leasing the car..

Since you're leasing just keep the stock air box so you can out it back on at the end of the lease since it will have to be returned the way you bought it. Also if you plan on doing a muffler delete you will have to have a shop put those back on before turning it back in at the end of the lease. Kind of a waste of money to do the delete if it isnt yours. Good luck.

I'm just looking for a deeper exhaust note for a few months and that is my best option. the money isn't really a problem.

Theres tons of clips out there for the exhaust delete so you can hear what it sounds like. I have it done on my si and personally i love it for now until someone comes out with something better

Funny you mention that. Im having a real hard time finding anything to do with the 10th gen Si..
WTF am i typing in wrong lol.
