The car at the debut was a top line touring. its the only one with full LED headlights... the rest of the lineup has LED tails, project beam headlights and LED accent lights.I though that it will be 155-160Hp 175/180 TQ like 1.4T jetta and 1.4T cruze...
But we have 174, wow!!
But torque??
And did the EX will have full Led? They said upper trim only...
They were mentioned by the lead exterior designer during the debut.where did you guys find the numbers? 40 mpg sounds niiiiceee LOL
He mentioned them quickly and said 2.0 was 15 more horses and 1.5T was 30 more horses.yea i heard all the rhetoric, internet connection was giving me fits so i missed the bit wit the numbers...
They are... if they made a mazda 3 coupe i'd be kicking honda to the curb... but i love my coupes. haha.but man the mazdas are pretty...
Probably a side effect of them lowering the floor in the car to make it sit lower and handle better.oh no the passenger rear floor hum is back....that was like one of the best features in the previous generations.
but now its there
Also keep in mind they're only talking about the sedan. The coupe might have a different layout, something like the Accord. Starting at an LXS trim instead of an LX trim... offering a manual on the turbo engine EX etc. Just have to wait and see.Kensic, This is what I saw 1 month ago...
but it should be like that:
With 6-speed manual transmission
•LX with 2.0-liter
•EX with 2.0-liter
after the presentation it seems that EX with manual transmission will be with 2.0L engine only.
no manual transmission fot 1.5T.
This is the model that I was looking for....EX manual with 1.5T
the 1.5 turbo will be available on EX with automatic transmission, and standard on EX-L trim and above with automatic transmission.
Most likely honda has made the engines capable of running on regular. Most of the small turbos on the market from ford, chevy and even VW's new small turbo base engine all run on regular. They wouldn't scare away potential customers with an engine that only takes premium.Do we know if it runs on regular gas? Or will I need to spend more on mid-grade?
Will the turbo require premium?
They said it would be getting a 30 horsepower gain over the current car's engine.... that's 174 horses. So it's not being generous... it's being true. Honda's lead designer wouldn't be allowed to stand up at the big reveal and lie about output numbers, he'd be fired.I know the rep mentions the gains of the 1.5T, but doesn't it feel a little skeptical regarding the output?
Dont get me wrong, those are some really good news but it seems too good to be true?
