I understand a sub-woofer was an option on this model, just wondering where exactly? I'm hoping there may be existing wiring or at least a good mount for an after-market sub. Has anyone installed this? I don't need to shake the earth, the sound system is just lacking a bit in the low end.

How much of a pain is it to upgrade the sound system considering the tight integration with the info screen?

The 2015 is a 9th gen Civic, so you might get a better response in one of the 9th gen forums. My 2013 has a 8" sub in center beneath rear window. A lot of users in the 9th gen have replaced that sub with aftermarket. Some have added separate amps for the aftermarket speakers & some just replaced the speaker, with varying results.
