Does anyone know the coolant change procedure on the new Civic 1.5L turbo 4 cylinder? I only ask because I would like to eventually do the coolant change myself but am not sure if bleeding is part of the protocol.

I know you need to drain the radiator of coolant in the older models. Not sure if the same applies for the 1.5L Turbo.
10th, all I could find in owner manual was "checking" and "adding fluid" - did not see a mention of changing. :(
Bleeding the system is a typical good practice to do but as for specifics, I haven't seen anything show up online yet.

Also we won't see service manuals for a while to come, unless the OEM manual gets leaked somewhere.
There is usually a bleeder on the front of engine block that you loosen up until fluid starts flowing out of it.

I will check for this next time I pop the hood.

I may install a block heater which would require me to take out the fluid

The OEM "manual" data is available online today--if you are willing to pay for access to it.
Gonna be a long time before you need to do this unless converting to Evan's Waterless Coolant.............I think the OEM stuff is at least 100000 mile services.

And that's why I love Civics!
