I haven't seen anyone post these yet so here you go. These aren't official renderings but more based on the production model of the Civic Sedan. As much as I want the actual production model of the Civic Si Coupe to look like the fun green one in the top banner that's probably not going to happen.

What do you guys think of these renders? I found them on autoblog.com.

These look like good representations of what we'll eventually get come time for production, after having seen the production sedan in full along with the coupe concept (which isn't that crazy of a concept)
Seems like they are pretty accurate. It seems to me that there should be two exhaust pipes at the back. Right now just the one looks like it is begging for another one the other side of the rear end.

The site that these debuted on said the same thing. If the 1.5T has dual exhaust pretty much a given that the Si will get dual exhaust as well.

Other than that i'd say these are 95% accurate to what we can expect of the coupe/Si when they finally debut.
The other thing I wonder about is if there will be that super thin lighting on the spoiler. That seems like something that might not happen.

Hard to see in pics, but i think that super thin lighting might actually just be the light reflecting on the bottom of the spoiler from the tail lights.

Could be...

Question for all, if the coupe uses a light bar does that count as the third brake light??
One thing to point out is there's a lot of common things with this and the current Si coupe:

No... the coupe has a 3rd brake light. It's at the top of the back window as shown in spy shots.
Look at the more recent pics that were taken a month ago... it shows clearly an upper rear tail light.
Scroll through the pics on that link. The third photo clearly shows the 3rd brake light at top of rear window.

I'm not a car expert. But i am a designer and an artist. Visuals are what i work in... so i pay attention to details like that. Very few people can argue with me about these things as i bring another insight of attention to detail to the table.

Side note... i like that the 3rd light looks clear, so probably has LED lights in it as well, instead of being red tinted with a standard bulb. Also noting how small and sloped that back window is... rear visibility will definitely suffer on this model compared to the 8th and 9th gens.

hey man you're not the only one detail oriented ;):D. I'm a copywriter by day and painter by night (I'd actually missed the last batch of coupe spys ;))

but you know I'm not sure if rear viz is going to be that bad... if you look at the spy shot I posted above and compare with the rear of a 9th/8th, there doesn't seem to be as much rise in the back end.

Now it may just be the angle of the picture coupled with the camo but the 10th coupe seems to have a more flat belt line which could provide a lower rear deck height...

Definitely more of an angle. Looking at some of the side shots of the coupe the beltline of the coupe goes upward. The trunk is alot higher on the 10th gen in relation to the hood height as where the 9th gen trunk/hood are almost even in height.

That extra height means extra slope, which cuts down viewable area, because perspective.... And the new coupe back window tapers in as it goes down to the trunk, further cutting inches off the viewable space.

Also, not visible in these images so far, there is a picture looking through the windshield of the coupe and you can see through the back and the rear deck where the speakers are mounted is raised up about 3-4 inches to meet the rear window, it actually rises up over the rear headrests. And with the rather large looking 3rd brake light mounted up top like that it cuts another few square inches of viewable space.

yea I think its just the picture, seems to be parked on a slight uphill which ends up evening it out in the one photo

But if you look at that first picture, you can see the headrests... and the rear dash is not just angled to look higher, it actually is even/higher than the head rests are, unlike the current car where the rear dash is far below the head rests... granted, it could be a new headrest design that kind of feeds into the seat back, but it wouldn't shock me if the rear dash was raised up higher on the coupe in order to meet the back window given the height of the trunk and the angle of the rear windshield.
rear visibility might not be an issue whatsoever with back up camera and lane change cams.
Unless the lane change and rear cams come standard, people who choose stock may have a hard time with rear visibility.
