Honda is working on a hatchback version of the Civic, and here are some of the first spy photos available of that model.

You can tell that this is the hatchback version because of the large, rounded rear end and the higher deck lid tip off.

One of these spy photos actually shows all three bodystyles (sedan, coupe, and hatcback), which is a great way to compare the three different body styles.

I wonder what the tail lights will look like on the hatchback version. Will it get a light bar across the back? I'm thinking no.

O, a crosstour Civic would be a very interesting move. There is a demand for cars like that right now, so they would be riding a trend. That would also explain the silhouette that we see here.
