Hey Guys and Gals,

So I was given the green light to share inventory information with you guys, similar to what I do at FitFreak.net. Below you will find information on Civics that are On-Order and In-Transit status.

So what's new with the 2016 Honda Civic?
Pretty much everything. It is being built on a new global platform, which will underpin future Accords, CRVs and other Honda models.

What Civic models will be available?
The new Civic will be initially offered in Sedan form, followed by the Coupe, Si, Hatchback and the eventual Type R.

What engines will be available?
Initial engine offerings for the sedan will be a new 2.0 liter NA 4 Cylinder, paired to both a 6 speed manual and CVT. The 1.5 Turbo will come exclusively with the CVT only.

Note: 6 speed manual only available on the LX trim

What about the trims?
In traditional Honda fashion, trim choices will come in LX, EX, EX-L and EX-L Navi offerings. New additions include available Honda Sensing and Touring models.

What is Honda Sensing?
A suite of preventive accident technologies which include the following:
Lane Departure Warning
Lane Keep Assist
Road Departure Mitigation
Adaptive Cruise Control
Forward Collision Warning
Collision Mitigation Braking System

For more details on how each of these technologies work click here

What is the new Touring trim?
Honda's Touring trim is its luxury offering for buyers who want true premium features without stepping up in price to a full luxury car. While the full spec sheet has not been revealed yet, expect the Touring Civic to include Honda Sensing, Leather with heated surfaces for both front and back, Navi, Premium Audio, unique wheels and more.

What about pricing?
Below you will find the newly released pricing on the new Civic sedan, including Destination Fee.

We are a top 100 store in the country. We are not the largest in our area, but our inventory of total Hondas overall (Civic, Accord, Pilot, CRV, HRV, etc) usually stays at around 400 cars.

I wonder how this would compare to my local dealer which is the largest in the midwest... easily 1000 cars on the lot(s).

have you guys seen many preorders already?
No pre-orders yet. They just came out with the build dates, so I believe most dealers did not know the trim combinations that would be available. From what I read, most stores in general are pretty clueless (at least the sales staff). My GM keeps me up to date with everything, which allows me to share info with you guys.

That being said, at this, point your local Honda dealers should know what they will be getting next month.

So anyone know what type of engine come, for example the LX EX come with K20 doch o still R20 engine???
We have not seen an engine code as of yet, but will post soon when available. Monday is a big day, so I expect everything, including what each trim will have as standard features, to be revealed.

any info for Rallye Red with the 1.5?
I will check tomorrow and let you know. We do have other vehicles that are On-Order, but simply do not have a build date yet. For the sake of keeping things simple, I decided to only post models that are confirmed to be built, since orders can be changed before they have been locked in.

I will let you know.

Thanks for the reply!:) I use to work for a Honda Dealership here in Washington too and I have asked them for any dates and they, and a few other dealerships that I have asked only have incoming dates for the Modern Steel EX-T to hit the floor.

Here's the info on the color red. The initial production will see very limited availability on this color.

We have one on order, but it does not have a production date yet.
Thank you for the information. Might have to settle for Modern Steel :(
