I think the middle seat with the drop down drink holder took some of the official space away.

Rear Seat Hiproom. As I see the specification from Honda site, I am bit concerned.
2016 Civic rear seat hiproom is 4 inch shorter than that of 2015. Could some one please clarify? I wish this information is not correct. But I keep my fingers crossed.
If it is true, why would Honda wanted to shorten the hiproom of the rear seat?
