Five door options list! Thanks for posting that up. Thought the sport touring trim would be getting the manual transmission since the regular sport trim is getting it. Are the accessories the same as the sedan and coupe?
Oh look! There's the manual EXT everyone has been waiting to see. Good news for those that wanted the manual turbo and a long list of features (as long as you don't care about leather).

Yep, that would be me, and I don't want leather.

I think it's safe to say those that really wanted manual and see the value in having it wont care about leather :D

Plus it's going to be one of the last times we get a manual like this. Next decade is going to be big for self driving cars and cars with highly advanced cruise control systems.

haha i was going to put "for people who want 2 doors and 3 pedals" in my post since you say it so much, but i didn't want it to come off snarky.

CivicDuty is going to be the first member here to test drive a manual EXT Civic, I just know it. :D

I wish, but probably doubtful. My little town is < 100,000 and the local dealer is small time. However, I just might take a ride to one of the larger dealerships (maybe Raleigh) and test drive one when they come in! :)
Too bad we don't have anyone else on here from Honda otherwise we would already hear some feedback from tech's that were sent off for training. But it's not common to find tech's that passionate to go to that far as to share it on social media.

Well keep in mind Honda takes very seriously any violations of embargoed information.

We tried to get more info out of our Honda Rep and she basically pleaded the fifth and claimed embargo as the reason she couldn't divulge anything.

We'll see!!!

Yea, better not push too hard as the person who leaks anything can get in trouble for it. I remember a while back where Acura was trying to track down someone who posted something on Jalopnik.

Do you know the actual "on-sale date" of the 2017 sedan? I really want to order an Aegean Blue EX-T 6MT but my local dealer says theyre not available yet.

We have an ETA on our first hatchback but I know it's not accurate since they never are on new models plus it was supposed to be in already... :(

during this part of the process it will be a waste of your time, your actually better off keeping an eye on what automotive publications will have on it.

we just saw spy shots, completely covered in camo.

the next step might be teasers, a leak, or something along those lines, maybe even it spied again but less camo.

THEN comes information posted on Honda's website.

Im looking for a sedan, not a hatchback.
2017 Sedans are really going to be down to your dealer. Another member mentioned that if they have too many 2016 models on the lot, Honda won't give them the 2017 ones until the older model year vehicles are sold. Maybe some dealerships already have them in stock, just gotta ask around.
