2018 Civic Hatchback Sport or Civic Sedan EX-T?

In the market for a new car and these 2 are on the top of my list. Currently in college and my daily commute is about 7 miles each way but next year it'll be 11-12 miles each way. Also my current job is delivering food but I have no idea how long I'll be staying there (at least for the full summer up to maybe September). The main issue that is preventing me from just committing to the Sport is only 6 more hp than the EX-T and how you are supposed to use premium gas for the Sport. Gas mileage isn't too far apart between the two and the Sport has the same mpg for city driving as my current car (2005 Corolla). I love the look of the Sport on the inside and outside but that premium gas thing is really making me thing of going for the EX-T. For a full tank of gas is it a noticeable increase or will it just be an extra dollar or two. Is this just some unreasonable "fear" and I should get the Sport or what? I havent test driven either yet but I'll definitely try to do it sometime in the next few days.

If the engine is tuned for the extra 6hp on premium fuel using lower octane may cause it to detune and have the same power. What is the price of fuel where you are? Multiply that by 10-11 and that's about how much more it will cost you every time you fill up. If you don't do a lot of other driving outside your daily commute it won't be too big a deal. Only you can decide on that. Good luck with your decision.
