The new 2018 Honda Civic Type R has been spied on the Nürburgring track in camo! I hope it won't be limited to just Europe.

Well we already know it won't be limited to just Europe, honda's already confirmed we're getting the hatch and Type R here, possibly before Europe even gets it.

Yup, it's been long confirmed here, I think ever since the 10th civic sedan was revealed (maybe even before that). It's just been the current Type R only sold in Europe that we won't get and that they will no longer get once the 10th is ready.

All you have to do is a quick Google search or search the forum and you'll find out, being a member with one of the highest posts counts around here (1000+) i'm sure you've seen it reported here to happen.

Confirmed by Honda at the hatchback reveal at the NY auto show in January this year.......

Guess I forgot the Type R part from the NY auto show. Took a look back and you guys are right, it's supposed to officially emerge by 2017.

Yeah there's just no way they can miss out on how the market is shaping up this time around, much unlike the past where I don't think a Type R would have done as well in North America, it was just good for milking profits from regular Civic models.
