I'm saying goodbye to my 2007 Manual Civic LX as each 5k service is costing $$$ now. I test drove an Insight LX and Fit EX and a CVT Civic LX and the Civic still seems to be the sweet spot for driving experience, or I might just have very little imagination. I'm in MA and I got an initial quote on a Manual Civic LX of $17750 and after taxes an all the various fees the OTD price is $19650 (MA tax is 6.25%). I think this is ok, but I think I can get another $500 of the base price. Do you have any comps or opinions?

FYI I settled at $17500 and OTD cost including all taxes and document fees etc of $19384.
