My 2016 Civic is only two months old and I have a noticeable AC cooling difference between the main vents and the floor vents. I took it to the dealer and was told its a 5 degree split and is within tolerance. I do need to mention that both the main vents and floor vents blow the same temperature for about 20 minutes and then the temperature split begins and you can definitely feel the difference in temperature. Any thoughts?

Which trim level? ECON mode? Auto mode or what all modes/settings? Synced settings if dual zone? Setpoint vs. outside temperature? Sun or shade or darkness? Idling, cruising, or accelerating? There are a LOT of variables in how the HVAC works. These have become much more complicated systems than they were in the old days.

Thoughts? I wouldn't assume it isn't working as-designed. That's not to say the reason behind the design is obvious to either of us or good or bad. But I bet it's had a lot of thought go into how to make it work to make most people happiest most often. Maybe they got complaints that people's feet were getting cold? Like people in sandals?
