My wife could not drive a manual years ago, I solved that by purchasing a car for our primary car that was a manual. She could not drive it day one, but within a week she was doing fine. Did I mention I did this when she was 8 months pregnant?
I drive a manual now and my wife prefers a manual in a sporty car but in heavy traffic I understand not wanting to mess with it. I was stuck in a traffic jam the other day for the first time in memory due to freeway road construction. 1 hour to go 17 miles. It does get old lol. I'm glad I don't live in a big city at that would lose the manual appeal real quick.
Also, the CVT from Honda is fine, I honestly would not care if there was a CVT option as Honda has done a pretty good job on those in the Accord that is for sure.
