Was never really a fan of hondas, mostly because I had that anti "tuner" mind set in HS. Currently have a 2010 Accord Coupe EXL V6, and I've been converted.

Anyway, my son is going to be born in a few months, and the coupe just won't cut it. I thought for sure my next car was going to be a 2016+ Accord, and then the 10th gen civic was unveiled and well here I am hah.

I am particularly interested in the Si sedan, hoping that they give it an auto option as a manual is out of the picture for me.

Previous cars include a 2000 focus zx3 and 300whp 2011 mazdaspeed 3.
welcome to the boards! Why is manual off limits for you?

Thanks!

As for the manual, my wife won't allow that, and sometimes my commute deals with heavy traffic and having had two previous manuals in heavy traffic, its torture.
fair, understand the traffic thing all too well... For me, I dislike CVT's more then I dislike clutching in traffic. My CFO has also been recently relieved of her duties hehee;)

Hoping for an Auto option on the Si as well, as i'd forgo the EX-T and get an Si instead (probably going to have pretty similar cost overall). EX-T is what i'm aiming for though since i'm not holding my breath on an auto Si, but honda might continue to surprise us. Just wonder if they'd do a 6 speed auto, DCT, or CVT on the Si given it's potential engine and power figures.
if you asked me to put money down I'd say DCT will be there. They practised with the ILX... Si also does enough in volume to justify certifying two powertrain combos...
