Hi, I've recently bought a used 2017 civic and was just wondering if there should be a noticeable "click" when the aircon is turned on (compressor turning on) or is it silent.
With it being really cold here it's difficult to check whether the system is actually working or not.
I was looking to ensure it's working OK before my warranty runs out and is there any way to check this as even with the A/C off the outside air coming in is close to freezing anyway.

I recommend getting an aircon servicing. Cheap and they really get inside there to find the problem and fix it!

You can create good weather right in the room with an air conditioner, but the main thing is that it works. I've been struggling with air conditioning for about 2. It would go on and off on its own, that was 2 hellacious weeks in 90 degree heat. I called a handyman from airconservicing.org , and he found the cause was a clogged condenser. Good thing he fixed it for me quickly, and I didn't have to buy a new air conditioner. As everybody knows, good air conditioners cost quite a lot.
