Does any one know what the expected low and high side AC system pressures are for a 2017 Civic EX-T when it is full on and the engine is at normal operating temperature? Also, what is the pressure in the system when the vehicle is not running. I know these pressures depend upon temperature and I have not been able to find any reference to them online.
Here is why I am asking. I am having the issue that many others are having. The air conditioning is not blowing cold air but only slightly cool air. The passenger's side air is noticiably cooler than the driver's side air. In fact the driver's side air vents blow hot and then warm air and never cool air. I have the gauges to measure the low side and high side pressures but do not know what they should be at various temperatures. I would like to troubleshoot this without going to the dealer. My guess is that some of the r1234yf has been lost. If my condenser had a leak like many others have had, then there would be no refrigerant pressure and no cool air what so ever. So now I am trying to determine if I have the correct amount of r1234yf in my AC system and I can do that knowing the expected pressures and temperatures.
