Hey all,

I'm an avid track day guy. I used to track my Golf R and now I'm going to run the Civic Si. I am shopping for rims and tires for the track and trying to decide which size rim (17 or 18, 8.0 or 8.5) and tire size to run. Is anyone else running theirs at the track?

If you want to be me more budget friendly I suggest a 17 X 8.0-8.5
If that is not a concern you will get more with a 18 X 9-10

I am currently on a 17 but will be getting 18 in the offseason.

Will a 9-10” wide rim clear? My local track is Laguna Seca and I had issues, in my Golf, with the tire contacting the fender in the Corkscrew.

You will have to pull fender a bit for anything over a 9.5"
