Australia’s Getting The Honda Civic Black Pack

Honda has recently started accepting pre-orders for the 10th Gen Civic that’s set to his Australia showrooms in June and ahead of its official launch, the 2016 Civic Black Pack option was unveiled.

Before now, the Black Pack was only available for the Honda Jazz but the option has now been extended to all five trims of the Civic Sedan.

Included in the pack is a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, sports grille, front under-spoiler, side skirts, mirror covers and boot lid spoiler. Of course, all of the listed parts will be finished in black.

For anyone who wants to add the Black Pack to your Civic VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L or VTi-LX, you’ll have to shell out an additional $2,998 AUD ($2,197 USD) on top of the sedan’s MSRP. It’s a bit cheaper, at AU$2,298 (US$1,684), if the optional pack is paired with the RS trim since it already has the black grille and boot lid spoiler.

One more thing to note is that the Black Pack prices do not include the tires for those 17 inch wheels. The VTi and VTi-S comes with 16-inch wheels so owners will need to get a new set. For everyone else, the existing tires on the VTi-L, RS, and VTi-LX can be easily swapped onto the new alloy wheels.

Why is this only available for the Australian market? What about the rest of the world?
At least give us the option to buy the parts in bits and pieces.

Plasti Dip, some masking tape and a couple hours of your time should solve that easily. Unless you want to go the window tint route.

Here's the black grill replacement pieces. It includes the replacement for the chrome above each headlight and the center chrome. I just ordered a set, there's only 1 left if anyone is interested.

Nice find, I'm sure the replica kit will appear on eBay soon enough as well
Just wrap all the chrome........
I got a quote to wrap the chrome, they wanted $180. The replacement grill cost $240 shipped. I figure the extra $60 to have something permanent is worth it.

For an additional 60$, I would definitely just buy the black grill. The finish will be much more oem and like you said, it'll be permanent
Starting to think there should be a brand that will make a type r style bumper for us, much like the bumper on this european type r

I wouldn't doubt it happening. We see it with majority of other vehicles. Evo style front bumper for the Lancers. M3 CSL bumpers for the 330ci. So on and so forth lol. It's only a matter of time as the aftermarket support is just beginning with the 10th
Even if it happens from a brand like Extreme Dimensions I wouldn't mind although it will take some work from a good body shop to make it fit properly, often cheap aftermarket brands like that have faults in their products.
That is true. Sorry just barging into the conversation ;)

But I think sometimes it's worth it to buy a replica bumper and have the body shop put some work on it to make it fit snug to you're vehicle. Either way majority of the time to get a proper finish, you'll have to do body work. Peoples vehicles go through different daily torments so it's kinda tough.
Makes me proud to live Down Under let me tell you that! Haha! I'm really quite happy that this is available. Having a bit of black trim on a car makes it look just that little bit more sharp doesn't it? I'm going to bet that a lot of people are going to be excited to see the black pack becoming available at the dealerships!
You can turn into our distributor ;) But most definitely, the black trim, especially the lip kit, really adds that sharpness to the exterior
I think even outlining some areas with red might do some good since it will give the car some of that Type R design DNA, all though something cheap and easy to do, just a couple hours on your driveway.
That would look really sweet and be relatively easy to do. Something like the Type R and the Nismo design cues
