I've got rubber floor mats (from the dealer) in my 2018 Civic LX MT. 23,000 miles into it and my right heel has worn a hole through the mat and begun to indent the floor. Before just replacing the floor mat, I wonder if there such a thing as a metal reinforced mat, after market heel plate, or other solution you guys may have found and would recommend? I'm tempted to just stick an old license plate under the floor mat, but I wanted to check with the community first. Thank you!
