Has anyone replaced their blow off valve yet? I'm interested in putting one in.

Which one were you thinking of putting in ?
Sadly I haven't found a way to do it yet. The civic uses a Dual Port Bypass Valve and is mounted on to the turbo like Mitsubishi turbos. The thing that makes it not possible to use other dual port bypass valves is the way the turbo is. If you take your bypass valve off and look at other dual port bypass valves..you'll see why it won't work. I plan on getting the car into my friends shop and figuring out a way to make it happen though.

Can't we get a spacer for the BOV so it makes a louder sound? I heard of Fiesta ST owners doing just that and having luck, the sound was significant, loud enough it had people thinking the owner swapped in some entirely different turbo setup.

The problem I see is that our bypass valve sits flush to the turbo as the Fiestas bypass valve has a part going into the turbo. I've thought about a bypass valve adapter too but then there's still a piece sticking out of it that needs to actually go onto the turbo housing.
Has there been any updates on this. I have the ex-l for about 3 months now and I've been waiting for someone to do so I can ask how
the adaptor for the hks is now on ebay. 18$ or something. im going to put a original hks bov with this flange soon.
boomba racing has got one out!!!!

thinking of making the move as soon as i have my bonus!!!!!

hahaha no i work in grocery store.....if we manage our department good every year.....we have a small bonus heheheh(meat manager)
Sooo I have heard about issues with installing a BOV causing the vehicles CPU to think there is a boost leak.. something about the "recirculating air?" Anyway, I don't want to pay for a 200$ BOV and have to go crawling to the Stealership to have them reflash or reset my ECU to clear the issue.. how long has anyone had one of these on their 1.5LT?
people are selling them .........and the pffssshhh it make....doesnt eve sound that good
get an intake and youll here the same thing(better IMO) with the turbo sound too!!!!!!
Nooooooooo don't do it.
I never understood the benefit...
Is there a performance element? (releasing the air, improving the boost quality perhaps? Downshifting/engine braking? something else?)
Or is it purely for the "Fwooshhhhh" sound effect?
