I have the touring civic maufacture date 1/2016. I bought it 1/17/2016 so the software update to the infotain system was already done. All of sudden yesterday my cell would not connect. It shows as being paired but wont connect or let me delete to reconnect. At the same time my date on the infotain system stays the same time as when i started the car but the dash clock is correct??? Also started at around this same time is when playing music thru Bluetooth it skips. Anyone having all these issues? What do I do now

Welcome to the club Dawn. This has happened many times to us and many others. The good news is that there is a simple fix until Honda does a software update to fix the problem you described. Here is what works: Press and hold the audio power (ON and OFF) for about 2-3 seconds until you will see a screen asking if you want to reboot. Choose yes, and your head unit will reboot in about 2 minutes, and you're on your way again.

Do this by pressing the audio power and just keep pressing? I have tried that and cant get it to reset or do anything

Dawn, with the car running, press and hold the audio power (about 2-3 seconds), and you should see a reboot option appear on your screen. Choose YES, and the system should reboot.

I have the LX manual just got it 3-30-16.
Bluetooth connected 2-3 time out of the 5-6 time I've been in the car. I'll try the reboot as stated above. Hope it works, if not I'll update my iPhone and reboot the car...

My phone connects but can't play music from iTunes. I tried to reboot the audio system but it won't let me.. Any ideas?

Just want to say thank you so much for the top about the reset. The bluetooth on mine was off, wouldn't turn on and was driving me nuts. This fixed it instantly!
