First install was the high-wall all weather mats from Honda. Since it rains up in the PNW so much and there has been lots of mud lately I figured they would be the best start for keeping things looking clean.
I purchased mine from my local Honda dealership but they can be found here as well.

Installation was super easy a 1 out 5 on the hard scale. They lock in for the driver and have plenty of wall to go up the sides of the carpet keeping everything clean.

Just finished up my LED headlight install. I looked thru many threads and even though HIDs do give better lighting along with better throw. I wanted an easy install with matching color to my existing LEDs. I decided to go with Hikari LEDs and I must say I am impressed. They are well built and install with ease.

Install was a 1 out 5 for difficulty and was completed in 10 min. You can find them here and as a bonus they give you a free set of LED wedge bulbs.

Here is the link to LEDs I purchased https://https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LCE19OI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here they are in the box and packaged

Now for the install along with before and afters.

1.Remove old halogens by disconnecting the plug and turning the base to the left

2. Install new LEDs the same way as the halogens

3. Here are the before and afters and side by sides.

Light comparison before - 105' of light distance

Light comparison after - 96' feet of light but a lot brighter

Final thoughts - Although the LEDs do not illuminate as far (9') they are much brighter and match perfectly. They are a simple install and way easier then HIDs and having to mount ballast etc. For the price they can't be beat and with the free set of LED wedge bulbs its a no brainer. I have installed at least 7-8 pairs of HIDs and i will only do LEDs going forward. They also have a 2 year warranty for a peace of mind and with a 10 min install I have no problem taking them out and putting them back to stock if needed.

Nice. I've been an advocate of people going with LED instead of HID. It's a new age! I love that they have a significantly longer lifespan, instant startup (no need to wait for HID to warm up) and they provide true white usable light opposed to blue-hue off-putting light.

I had no issues, but its with sad news that over the weekended I traded back in my Civic for the 2017 Honda Accord V6 Touring Edition with every available option. It was to good of a deal to pass up. So while my time here was fun and the community is great I have to move on with the new project.
