I was originally going for this color, but when I saw it in person it looked black. In bright sunlight it will looks eggplant color, but anything else, it will look blackDoes this look Purple to anyone?
this is the color i think i want but i have some people saying it looks black while others say its purple.....

It's probably just about the most classy looking color for the Civic, takes it one slight step towards Acura, every other color just is plain jane civicI love the purple haze color because it does look black.
Honestly, looking across the expanse of my work parking lot i see a sea of black, gray, white, silver and tan/champagne. Even colors like dark blue or blue gray blend in.It is plain, it's the default color that most people gravitate to which is what you see on most basic commuter cars. It's when you get into the higher price range that things really start to change. But that's not to say those default colors people go with aren't good.
