Ok I know we're about 2 weeks from Honda giving us the full figures for the Civic Turbo, but I'm impatient and curious.
So I went and found the figures for the Jade RS hoping for something. Now before you get uppity I know the Jade RS is derated and optimized for JDM fuel economy, but what I was really looking for was peak RPM.
150PS (148hp) at 5,500 rpm and 203Nm (150lb-ft) of torque between 1,600 and 5,000 rpm.
HondaProJason posted a photo on his instagram of the 1.5T making full boost just shy of 6,000 RPM.

So I think its fair to assume the 1.5T in the Civic makes peak between 5,500 and 6,000 RPM and we already know the horsepower is 174. Considering he would of snapped the photo AFTER already hitting peak boost, its likely closer to 5,500 but lets look at TQ figures from 5,500 to 6,000 RPM
Using the formula TORQUE = HP x 5252 ÷ RPM we can come up with a ballpark figure
Assuming peak HP at 5,500 RPM= 166 lb-ft
Assuming peak HP at 5,600 RPM= 163 lb-ft
Assuming peak HP at 5,700 RPM= 160 lb-ft
Assuming peak HP at 5,800 RPM= 157 lb-ft
Assuming peak HP at 5,900 RPM= 154 lb-ft
Assuming peak HP at 6,000 RPM= 152 lb-ft
You can use a HP/TQ calculator if you want to check my numbers http://www.1728.org/mtrtrq.htm
I think this is at least a good place to start our discussion, and I certainly like the sounds of 166 lb-ft of twist...
