Can't judge a book by its cover

Here is the unveil of the 2016 Civic Coupe. I must say this looks a lot nicer and shorter than the spy shots of the green booger.

5.5 inches shorter. All from the rear overhang.
The interior dash looks the same as the sedan.
That's not shocking, the sedan and coupes have always shared dashes. The only differences being the handles on the doors and i believe the 10th gen coupe has the unique black accented seats across the board, so they'll all have black accented bolsters (as pictured) with either gray or ivory "inserts".
One thing I was pleased to see is that there seems to be good space for rear passengers. With how I sit (being at 5'11), and the driver seat adjusted to what will work well enough for me, a rear passenger will be comfortable.

5+ inches of additional rear legroom from the 9th gen coupe, that makes it alot more livable for the occasional rear occupants.

and you sit lower too. Cramped legs are one thing, but a cramped neck is unforgivable.

I rarely ever have people in my back seats, but my sister who is about 5'7" was back there a few months back, barely any headroom in my 9th gen. The lower seating position and the fact the sloped window sits a bit higher than the 9th gens (to meet the trunk which is higher) gives some more headroom as well. Overall not at all bad space for a coupe, especially given the 5.5 inches of length they shaved off compared to the sedan.
I think it was a smart choice to show off the Civic in blue instead of that green color. The green, even if some people may choose it, just doesn't seem like the best choice in order to appeal to the most people.

Agreed, show off a color that will be more popular to the masses, rather than a niche color like the kiwi green we saw. Wish they had had more than one coupe, would have been nice to see 2 or 3 colors at it's debut, then they could've managed the green along side 2 normal colors.
I like it. Now let me just hope the rear of the hatchback will be just as good and able to compete with the Mazda3. I can see myself struggling between the Civic and the facelift Mazda3 next year haha.
Honda still has time to improve on the hatchback's design and from what I've seen with the Sedan and coupe, the hatchback is going to look amazing too!
Just wonder how much trunk space the coupe actually has.

I think that was purely to target two different audiences, the concept in that green to get the mass of consumers to give it a look and get some attention, and then this blue on the production model to show those who are serious what Honda knows will appeal to them, and more likely to get them to buy.
