No, never tried using autodip. I really wanted it wrapped in a glossy black.

Was going to have a shop do it but they wanted 150 for front and 275 for windows. Didn't want to spend that kind of money just yet. And that was just covering up chrome. Maybe ill buy the wrap myself one day and give it a shot.

Makes sense, that's definitely quite pricey. Would be cool to try it out yourself though

How much did you end up paying for the 5 cans of dip and 5 cans of gloss?

For small things like that plasti dip is usually the best thing to do, unless what color you found as a wrap can't be found in plasti dip form. Some people are very particular about what they do that it gets down to that point.

I did 5 coats on each section. Got 2 cans of black dip and 2 glossifier. Probably $35
