Nice! Glad to see some more spy shots of the coupe (since we've seen alot less of it than the sedan). Interior is predictably coupe, same as the sedan but with the added handles on the doors. Can't wait for the full reveal of the coupe.

On a side note, what is it with these sources not getting the engines right!? It's already confirmed that a 2.0L is replacing the 1.8 but they insist on claiming the 1.8 is a carryover... sloppy research on their part i suppose, and they claim the 1.5T is Si only... also wrong. But that aside. Great pictures of the interior and exterior of the coupe. Even though the coupe and sedan have matching front ends, somehow the headlights seem more aggressive looking on the coupe, maybe it's just the different camo they have on it.

I also love that the shape of the coupe reminds me alot of one of my dream cars, the Audi TT.

Can't see too much about the interior from these pictures, but I do like what I see from the centre screen. It looks quite simple, and I think that is a good thing.

People will just gripe about the lack of a volume knob, which i find redundant since it has steering wheel controls. Hope they added a mute button to the wheel controls tho...
The touch screen looks positively massive... and is that two tone tan interior??? looks to be...
Honda is going to end up taking all my money. I'll be paying MSRP, I'm getting Honda Sensing, and now i'm considering the Ex-L trim after seeing the pictures.
That touch screen does look HUGE. How is that the 7 inch touchscreen? Maybe honda has a bigger one for even higher trims? OR maybe they just designed the dash to look that way with the touchscreen in place, while the usable area stayed at the same 7 inch. I can't see the civic having a larger available touchscreen than the Pilot or Accord.

Glad that i don't like leather, though i really like the 2 tone look (and hoping the cloth seats have some of those colored inserts we've seen on the sedan and this car) Also glad i couldn't care less about having the sensing tech. EX 1.5T with the CVT for me!

I am also puzzled at the size of the screen. Using the tape measurer provided, the width of the screen is 6''. According to the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, the height should be 3.4''. This is the case in the Honda Accord and Honda Pilot.

What's strange is that the height looks just at least as long as the width. If the width and height are both 6'', then the screen size will be 8.5''. This is undoubtedly a much different screen than anything else in Honda's lineup.
I imagine it could look something like a square version of Tesla's screen. It's definitely time for Honda to upgrade their touchscreen. The current model has been around for several years and a large, attractive one like the Tesla's will definitely set it apart from competitors in its class. What better time to introduce it than with the all new Civic, which appeals to a younger crowd that would especially appreciate this kind of upgraded.

If you look at the closest shot of the screen you can see that it isn't all screen.... the current unit has a black surround which on the driver side contains the haptic touch buttons (volume, home, apps) and is about 2-3 inches wide. The screen does not take up the entirety of the unit, but instead floats inside the black boarder so it's not actually as large as it appears. Its definitely the 7 inch screen. Honda JUST got this unit into the Pilot and Accord... no reason to replace it already.

Another thing mentioned on another forum... this appears to be an EXL trim given that it has the halogen projectors and leather interior... but look at the back.... only 1 exhaust outlet... the EXL sedan is supposed to be coming standard with the 1.5T as the 2.0 is only offered on the LX and EX. Explain that nonsense.... It could be that this is actually a 2.0 EX trim and the leather interior was put in for testing purposes only (wear and tear testing perhaps).

It's logical to assume that Honda would put their newly introduced 7'' screen for the Accord on the Civic, but judging from the leaked picture its just not possible. A 7'' screen has a width of 6.05'' and a height of 3.4'' according to a 16:9 aspect ratio. The dimensions of the screen within the bezel from the leaked photo has a width of 6'' and height that must be at least 6''. This wont fit into any standard aspect ratio that I know of. I went a bit overboard with the Tesla screen analogy, but the screen will look very similar to something like the one in this video, just not as tall.

Notice in the leaked picture that there is no separate display for the climate control. This will, instead, be integrated into the touchscreen with HondaLink/Carplay/Android Auto above it just like in the video.

You may doubt that Honda would introduce such a unique screen for the Civic when the Accord and Pilot have 7'' and 8'' screens, respectively. But remember that the Accord has two screens and the Civic is targeted to a younger audience that prefers large, inclusive screens.

You make a good point about the Civics audience and for that reason it could warrant something new, especially with it being a world product, which i think isn't like any setup they've had before.
Looking at photos on the steering wheel it looks like the volume button is also a scroll button? Seems odd in the design and to me looks almost like a touch scroll button.

I also see that there is adaptive cruise control on the wheel too which is a great feature and I cannot wait to own a vehicle with that. Glad to see that button!

Screen does not look unusually big to me, looking at other pictures from earlier with the non touchscreen version you can see how small that area on the dash is. With bezels a 7" screen looks about right to my eye.
My TLX has the scroll buttons on the wheel and they are great. They scroll up/down, side to side and you can also press it so they serve a few functions.
The coupe's screen looks a lot bigger than I thought it would from previous spy shots. Maybe it's just me.

I've reconsidered and I think you're right. Although, the climate control will be part of the display under the 7'' display. Something like the sketch that I attached.

I agree, if honda is throwing an all new larger screen in the upper trims it's going to incorporate the climate control along the lower portion, which means the actual infotainment area won't change much in size from the current 7" setup most likely. They probably did this instead of doing a two area setup like the HRV has for it's climate control, save a little on cost maybe.
