Production is taking place in Alliston Canada. Woo Canada. I'm curious if that will be the home of every form of the 10th gen civic. Because that is a huge number of units that the one factory will be responsible for.
While production of the sedan has just begun, Honda said we'll soon be treated to the "most diverse and innovative lineup in Civic's 43-year history." That lineup includes sedan and coupe variants, a five-door hatchback, high-performance Si models and the first Civic Type-R to be offered in North America.
I'm 55 years old and the red seems too "young" (to put it nicely). I love the deep reds on many other cars. I want to see what the burgundy looks like and maybe the blue or dark grey also.Yes, I'd like a red Touring with a side of poutine...![]()
I'm glad they don't offer those colors. Honda doesn't want the car to look old. I think its more likely that older people would want to buy a car that looks younger, than younger people would want to buy a car that looks older.I'm 55 years old and the red seems too "young" (to put it nicely). How old are you?
I was kidding about the color, mine will be metallic grey with black cloth.I'm 55 years old and the red seems too "young" (to put it nicely). I love the deep reds on many other cars. I want to see what the burgundy looks like and maybe the blue or dark grey also.

Exactly !!!!!!If Honda would sell me one in this red I'd have three...

My accord is taffeta white, and it does look good, but I hate this **** paint haha. **** is much harder to take care of than metallic colors, **** seems to soak into it almost, and it shows all the brown marks from anything landing on it.Kind of surprised honda didn't decide to offer a deeper red like they have on the current civic. They do have 2 different blues, the aegean blue is a true blue while the cosmic blue is almost a royal blue with a hint of purple to it from what i can tell on the color sheets we've seen. The purple was a bit of a letdown since it basically looks black until you're right up on it.
I'm all about the white orchid pearl. I love honda's in white, they look so sporty and crisp. Hoping the coupe has *** as an option and not just the taffeta white. While the TW still looks nice, the extra depth of the *** really pops. The current sedan can be had in either color, while the coupe only comes in TW. LAME.
haha... yea, it can be tough to keep clean. My coupe is TW and while i love it... it does show everything... (except road salt in the winter, so that's a plus)... i part under a tree at home and so i constantly have yellow sap marks on my hood from the tree dripping... gross. And then, the other day somehow developed a 4 inch long thin scuff mark above the driver side faux air intake... no idea how it got there... thinking the paving company that was repairing our work lot might've scuffed my car while they were working, or gotten tar on it... i can't get it to rub off with spit and my sleeve... gonna try some dish soap and a sponge soon... its black and doesn't look like an actual scratch in the paint, its a scuff sitting on top of the paint. So annoyingMy accord is taffeta white, and it does look good, but I hate this **** paint haha. **** is much harder to take care of than metallic colors, **** seems to soak into it almost, and it shows all the brown marks from anything landing on it.
My 2014 Accord is white orchid pearl. That paint below the smooth clear coat sparkles in the sun. Awesome color!Kind of surprised honda didn't decide to offer a deeper red like they have on the current civic. 67 here and I'm leaning towards the lunar grey.I'm 55 years old and the red seems too "young" (to put it nicely). I love the deep reds on many other cars. I want to see what the burgundy looks like and maybe the blue or dark grey also.

I believe so yes. Hence the fancy group picture with it. lolI suppose the white civic in the first picture was the first one produced?
That was the very first full production civic to come off the line they've probably ran 60-120 pre full production cars just to make sure they run smoothly through the machinesI suppose the white civic in the first picture was the first one produced?
True, but all the preproduction cars get destroyed. Yep, every single one of the test cars, preproduction models etc that we've seen so far are destined for the crusher. Even the test cars the media drove all get the axe because they aren't fully production spec. That was the very first full production civic to come off the line they've probably ran 60-120 pre full production cars just to make sure they run smoothly through the machines
the configurator should be up in a few days and that will probabaly be your best look outside of seeing them in the metal... problem is the configurators can hide alot of the sexy paint details that can make you fall in love with one particular shade...Hey Gary, another old fart!
Watcha thinkin'? Touring? I'm ready to have some bells and freakin' whistles myself! And is there a decent way to see all the colors (I don't know one grey appellation from spit) in order to compare? I guess I'll hafta wait and see em in real life. But this fart is gettin' impatient! And I certainly can't preorder when I really don't know which color I'd like.
