I noticed that in Canada with all of the discounts and lower interest rates, the ILX is only a few thousand more than the Touring civic. Even at the same price I would rather the Civic. The 201 HP doesn't seem as fast as the 174 Turbo. Am I imagining that ?

No idea but I do know that some cars feels faster than others even if they have less hp. The touring acceleration is probably better than the ILX.

The turbo's mid range power and extra torque probably is what makes it feel faster than the ILX.

The IDX doesn't sell well to begin with and the Civic will hurt sales even more.
The Acura line has a problem selling car models.The RLX is a bad joke.

The ILX and new Civic trap the same speed in the 1/4 with similar 0-60 times.

Thats comparing 200hp 8 speed dct premium gas vs 174hp cvt regular gas.

you conveniently left out the TLX which is a stormer for them... watch ILX kick ass when it gets upgraded

5K units a month is ok but that's the only model that sells.Good out of the gate but let's see if it has legs.
Check out the flagship RLX October sales number.142 units which is pitiful and at $12K off '15's with a $61K list in my area.Been that way for quite awhile.

I was actually looking at the IDX but with this new Civic Touring,it's not worth the extra cost just for the badge.

You're kidding yourself if you think the Acura car line is selling well.

The MDX and RDX have kept Acura afloat for years.Maybe more the Honda division.
