Cruze control issue

1576 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  dick w
When I first got the car ( touring model, 8000 km) whe I used cruze it would show the set speed below the cruze icon on the dash and it had the option to set the distance the cruze would auto adjust to the vehicle your catching up to.

I just noticed on a road trip this function doesnt work any more nor could I find out how to turn it on if I accidentally turned it off.

Any suggestions?

Press and hold the button on the right rocker on the r-hand four way switch to change cruise from ACC to traditional cruise and back to ACC. Press it and release to cycle the follow distance, when in ACC.
Ok ty, thought I tried holding but nothing happened .. Will try again.
OM says:

Press and hold the (distance) button for one
second. Cruise Mode Selected appears on
the driver information interface for two
seconds, and then the mode switches to
Cruise.
To switch back to ACC with LSF, press and
hold the button again for one second. ACC
Mode Selected appears on the driver
information interface for two seconds.
YMMV.

Interesting that the most recent download version of the OM is now "Secured" and you can't copy from it. Sigh.
