How much more power can my 2.0L Civic's CVT tranny handle over the 158HP?

We've seen the CVT over 200 I believe ? No one has really pushed until failure yet I don't think.

How much were you going for ?

Don't think we can give you a specific number before the CVT tranny gives out but if you plan to slap on a turbo kit, the civic will most certainly lose reliability.

I think one rule of thumb (forget where I heard it from) is to keep power increase under 30% of the stock power if you want to increase power but be safe at the same time, beyond that might present issues.
