I ran across this video today showing the full-stop capability of the cruise control. This will be awesome for me in the traffic up around DC.

Does the ACC accelerate once the vehicle in front of you has moved on? I don't see it increasing before the end of the video.
No, I wish it did. But I'm guessing they had to make it not for fear that you could step out of the car while it was stopped, then it would take off with no one in it when the car in front of it moved out of the way.

But, you just press the gas pedal or hit the resume button on the steering wheel and it will start going again, still on cruise and still with the same speed you had it set at before.
wonder how aggressive it will accelerate back up to speed... some cars just pin it until it gets to where its supposed to be LOL
I think I see the RES (resume) button on the steering wheel. Too bad you have to resume it every time because that highway stop and go traffic will wear out that button pretty fast.

I think that is one of the thing the ECON button on newer Hondas has an effect on. I know in my Accord, with ECON on, it is REALLY slow to get back up to speed when I slow down then hit resume.

Agreed. My 2014 coupe, when in cruise, will go mid range for throttle when i hit resume. When ECON is on it applies the least amount of throttle... takes like a whole mile just to get back to where i was in terms of speed. lol. But it's all about those mpgs
