Tested out the hazards - normal blink
Tested individual turn signal - fast blinking....

any thoughts why? It's the correct bulb - 7440. Frustrating.

Ripped them out and put stock halogens back in. Anyone know LEDs that are PnP and wont hyperflash?

amazon has a set....that states they don't hyperflash....but, all LED's that i am aware of will hyperflash in the turn signals unless you add the resistor.

the ebay version is what i would be interested in as a solution...i dont' want to cut into my wiring and have any sort of issue with lights down the road.

You can still use your current LEDs. You will need to change to a digital flasher. The digital flasher will solve the problem and work with any non-LED bulbs you have. This something I learned from modifying my motorcycle turn signals.

the 9th gen didn't have a removable/replaceable flasher. i doubt the 10th gens have them either.

Just gotta buy canbus led bulbs. The ones you've bought are not canbus or "error free" and will cause the hyperflashing.
