First Honda, Second Japanese car

I have a 2016 Honda Civic EXT Coupe Modern Metal Gray
I had it since the middle of May have only 295 miles on it as today.
First issue was with dealership they were crooks, second issue with Airconditioner leak when the car was a week old.
Third issue is with Audio system intermittent problem.
Forth issue is brake pedal is too high.
Fifth issue is I just found it today there is an access panel on the passenger front side floor pan, and I contacted Honda USA on Twitter and they said they have no technical knowledge make an appointment with the Dearlership.
I owned a 2007 Nissan Maxima that I bought new and I trade it in for this car which I am thinking is a mistake.
Is anybody else facing the same issues.

doesn't appear anything about this car pleases you. why did you buy it? the dealership...is out to make money...and the most they can on every deal. you agreed to whatever it was they sold you. do your homework. i don't think the brake pedal has moved since the test drive...so did you test drive it?

infotainment system...they all have glitches. ford's sync had glitches for few years before being ironed out. hyundai's systems and telematics system had issues for awhile. one of the reasons i'm waiting. my current civic, i can't use half the stuff that it supposedly has, but, i've lived without it for years.

not sure why an access panel has you worked up. years ago, chrysler put the battery under the rear seat. that to me is an issue....not an access panel.

maxima to civic...apples to oranges. maxima is their flagship...try comparing the sentra to the civic. civic wins hands down.

Maybe Honda will work out the kinks that are bothering you with the next system update. With how often modile phones and infotainment systems are updating, I'm not surprised to see a few glitches here and there.

As for the aircon leak, best to get that looked at and it's free since the Honda is new and under warranty. Hope the Civic works out for you in the end.
I'm gonna have to agree with all the points that @fear24 made, pretty straight forward. Majority of vehicles these days are having infotainment issues anyhow, from the Civic to darn Range Rovers. Common.

You're past the lemon law I believe, so I mean.. cooperating with the dealership or changing dealership needs to be in order ?
The Dealership had my car for 3 days they did a dye test and said it was a small leak in the AC system fixed and charge system as of today AC is working great. I know that other car companies also had problems with infotainment systems. Hopefully they will get the bugs out soon. There was a call back for rear marker lights on car, which they took care of during the time they had my car. I have no problem with Honda Service dept, in fact I was quite pleased with them, they had a new loaner car waiting for me and I didn't even ask for one. I was also reimbursed money. It's a long story and I am obligated not to go into it, actually I got a very good deal on the car, even less than True Car quoted.
I want to do some stuff to get more HPs out of the engine and I want a better brake system but I don't want to void the warranty, I took and extended warranty also.
Hopefully I will have this car for awhile.
Fear24 I am sorry you took my post so personal,do you have stock in Honda? ...lol
no issues here with me. not personal at all. just when you buy a new car, then immediately start complaining about it, first question i would ALWAYS ask...did you test drive it? some of the issue you complained about...didn't make sense to ME. to you they did...

and no, no stock in honda. i've had them for many years, but, stepped away from them after Odyssey was totalled in 2010. i got a great car at an incredible price to replace the odyssey, and it wasn't a honda. i gave honda a chance to make a similar deal, they wouldn't, so i walked out. didn't go back to honda until i bought my '14 - and they had to work to get me back in a honda even then.

Some dealers will let you have it for a day or a few hours just to get a real feel for it in the various conditions and situations you would be putting it in. Anyone who hasn't bought one yet should try doing exactly this. At least then you'll know what exactly you're getting in to.
I wished I knew about that before purchasing the car, because I really didn't get enough time to "test drive"the car. I haven't really driven the car much since I purchased it in May, as today's date the car only has 345 miles on it. Had to bring the car back to dealer for E brake recall, this was my 3rd time there for recalls and repairs. Does anyone else have an issue with the third brake light cover hanging off ? They told me today that "there is nothing they can do about repairing it because "Honda didn't issue a fix yet for that problem". So ther service technician suggested that "when it fully falls off place it in the glove box until Honda issue a fix."

There's a pretty big thread on the third brake light cover falling off. Extremely common as it seems almost everyone has this problem. Some people have been doing their own make-shift fixes for it, others are waiting because dealers everywhere are giving the same answer.
