Welcome, and enjoy! >:)
Welcome to the forum.

How are you liking it so far now that you have put on that many miles? Any things you have grown to like/dislike about it?
Wife's ride
To work and grocery. Once a week to Mass.
My first mod will be sound proofing the trunk and lid.
We drove Toyota for 38 years and then they went down a wide gapping mouth road, we could not follow.
The Civic is a handsome car that I can at last fit in to drive at 6'4"
The foamy seats demand a hardy seat cover. I have the Carehart Duck Cotton on my F150 Super Crew and put something like that on the Civic Seats but SWMBO has other ideas. The dealer had me when I saw the VIN ended in 777. For sub 20k OTD they had us.
My wife likes the maneuverability, when I real in some of the road noise I think it will feal more substantial.
41 mpg that's sick. We are getting 35+ around town, I understand we have to sorta nurse the CVT for a couple thousand miles to break it in. We will eventually do a road trip and I would not be surprised to see 42 or 43 mpg with a tailwind. Oh, and I rather like the sorta turbine hum from the 2 liter linked to the CVT. That is unique. It's grey.

Till later

Why do you need to sound proof the trunk and lid? Is it rattling around?

That's what I see people posting as reasons on other forums. Trunk lids are quite simple, metal with a light cover on the inside lined with fabric. A simple lining of Dynamat or something similar can go a long way.
If you keep people in the trunk, you don't want others to hear them in there... jk. :p

Welcome to the forum man. Glad you are enjoying the car so far especially since its your first Honda.

Post some pictures if you get the chance. :)
