I've been driving my 2016 EX sedan for a week now, and I thought I'd post my thoughts.
Ride: Smooth and responsive. Compared to my 2002 Tacoma, a hay cart pulled by a mule would probably be smoother, but in all truth I love the ride of this car. It's quiet and only gives me significant road noise when I'm driving over patches of highway that haven't been finished.
Roominess: Plenty, except for my right leg. The center console is beefier than I would think a car this size would require. My right knee rests right against the console. I'm getting used to it, and backing my seat up a bit so my legs are straighter has helped. Still, I'm glad I'm not any bigger than I am, because I suspect I'd be downright uncomfortable. This issue aside, the Civic feels a lot bigger than I expected it to. The back seats seem okay, although I haven't had any passengers back there yet. The trunk is big enough for most of our everyday needs. Any larger loads can go in the back of my truck.
Mileage: So far, I'm averaging somewhere around 38.5 mpg. This is 3.5 higher than the combined mileage listed on the EPA sheet, and I'm quite pleased. I'm driving very conservatively - well, as much as I can when having to deal with traffic on Atlanta interstates. I can't wait to see what my long-term savings are.
Connectivity: I tried Apple Car Play and immediately disliked it. I noticed and commented on a thread on this topic, in which someone stated that there's a software issue. If it's resolved, great. If not, I'm fine with the onboard Honda Link menu. It's easy to understand, and it plays what I want it to play, at least mostly. I have noticed that once in a while it will open my music instead of my Audible app, which is odd, since I really don't listen to iTunes on my phone. Still, it hasn't been a significant annoyance.
Looks: I still find this an eye-catching car. I've noticed a few other 10th Gen Civics on the road, but not as many as I expected. What I have noticed is tons of Modern Steel grey cars. No biggie; I didn't really want a car that stands out like the red.
Overall, I'm still happy I made the choice I did, and I look forward to owning this car for many years.
