I have the LX model I am looking to swap in heated mirror from an EX looking at parts diagram looks like I would just need the heated mirror. Can anyone confirm this? Do you know if the wiring harness is the same between LX and EX model?

Hm... that'll be a tough one, the main thing to see is if there is an existing harness that's just sitting there, which I actually doubt. But if there is a harness, it'll be plug and play theoretically. Someone that has one needs to chime in to figure this out or you can just pop off your mirror and take a little looksie

Picked up the mirror glass worst case I guess I could run new wires through the door and either hook up to a rocker switch or splice into the defrost button. Will have to try and find a wire diagram.

Saw that. Wasn't sure if it was just a cross reference same part. On the catalog they look identical.

Just make sure you wire it up clean, seen way too many hack jobs in my time, guys cutting through insulation or rubber seals just to feed wire rather than feeding it through how OEM or professional shops would.

That's definitely a pet-peeve of mine. Do it properly or don't do it at all !
