2016 civic EX - 4 months later

we got this back in April and so far so good. Just the annoying infotainment issues that will get resolved with the software update. Seems to be a good match with the RDX.

Will be adding rear tint and a dashcam to the civic soon.

some pix:

rear emblems dipped: (to match up with my RDX )

do you want it on only when the car is running? do you have a tester? turn the igniton to on..and start testing the fuses (the labels should provide a clue) to see which is hot when the ignition is on.

also, some fuse boxes have 'extra' locations you can add something to - without tapping into an existing circuit.

well i'll have to do some research on the civic fusebox. I hardwired the RDX front dashcam and i'm hoping its similar to the Civic.

for the RDX, there is a hardwired blackvue up front and a cig-outlet powered one on the rear.

and yes, I want the dashcam to be able to operate when ignition is off aka parking mode.

Are you just going to have that front mount cam or also a camera for the back as well?

For insurance purposes it might help to have a rear camera, plus it's a small one time investment, but I know front mount is what most are doing.

Looks so nice in white. Good combo.
You know what they say about cars that look good in white, right?

But in my opinion, darker colors look better on the Civic, much like what you can see in the banner of this forum.
It just does a better job at blurring the cut lines and creates less contrast between all the colors going on between body and trim.
